Recreation, Parks & Pathways Advisory Committee
The Recreation, Parks and Pathways Advisory Committee is organized as an advisory committee of the Township Committee. The Township Committee shall receive and consider recommendations of this Advisory Committee regarding personnel, policy establishment and/or policy changes, as well as capital acquisitions and improvements. The Director of Parks and Recreation serves as staff to the Committee and oversees personnel, maintenance and day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities of the Committee include:
- Review initiatives and provide comment on priorities, facility improvements and maintenance, fees, participation, activities and community recreation needs.
- Volunteer and recruit others to volunteer with Township-sponsored recreation, park, pathways and open space programs.
- Make recommendations to the Director of Parks & Recreation for park facilities, programs and services.
- Promote the Township's recreation, parks, pathways and open space programs throughout the community.
