Ski and Board Club

Registration for the 2025-2026 season begins October 27 and ends on November 9, 2025 (or earlier if sold out).

1. Register Online with your Parks & Recreation household account with payment by credit card or register in-person with cash or check. This fee covers transportation and administration of the program - $140.00 per participant.  This fee is non-refundable after 11/9/25.
2. Instructions will follow, at a later date, to purchase lift tickets and any additional packages directly through the Shawnee Mountain online portal by the designated deadline.  The fees paid to Shawnee will be non-refundable once paid.  First-Time Lessons are REQUIRED if the participant is a brand-new skier or snowboarder. Please see the following options for lift tickets and lessons (pricing is TBD, see Fee Information Tab for estimated costs):

• First-Time on Ski or Snow Board Lessons - These lessons are ideal and required for NEW participants who have not skied/snowboarded prior. These are one hour long, group lessons, which take place at the Learning Center/Beginner Hill on each of the four trips.
• Beginner Hill Basic Lessons - These lessons are for new skier/snowboarders learning to control speed, turn and stop.  These are one hour long, group lessons, which take place at the Learning Center/Beginner Hill on each of the four trips.  If a participant can already ski/snowboard or ride the Green and Blue Trails from top to bottom with ease, these lessons are NOT appropriate.
• NEW One-Time Refresher Lesson on Week 1 - Brush up on Stopping and turning.  This is a one hour long, group lesson, which takes place at the Learning Center/Beginner Hill. 
  • After week one, participants will be able to purchase additional Beginner Hill Lessons to keep building confidence or a Green Trail Lesson to explore the trail from top to bottom.

• No outside food may be brought to the mountain. Participants may bring money to purchase food or pre-pay for a meal plan.

Estimated Costs for 2025-2026 Ski & Board Club

• $140, Transportation & Program Administration, Paid to Parks & Recreation
• $144, 4-Trip Lift Ticket Fee, Paid to Shawnee Mountain

Optional Fees

• $169, 4-Lesson Package for First-Time or Beginners, Paid to Shawnee Mountain
• $47, 1-Lesson Refresher, Paid to Shawnee Mountain
• $64, 4-Trip Meal Plan, Paid to Shawnee Mountain (Outside food/beverage is not permitted.  Meals may be purchased a-la-cart on site, however, Shawnee is CASHLESS).
• $100 - $300, Seasonal Ski & Helmet Rental, Paid to a Rental Shop
  • Club discounts to specific rental shops can be found on the Participant drop down.  All participants must bring their own ski/snowboard equipment and helmet.  There are no rentals at the mountain.

Extras to Consider

waterproof jacket, gloves, pants, goggles, boot bag, duffle bag, hand/feet warmers, ski/board carrier & lock, wrist guards, etc.

The Parks & Recreation registration fee is non-refundable after November 9. The fees paid to Shawnee will be non-refundable once paid.

If trips are canceled due to inclement weather, they will be rescheduled to one of the make-up dates (February 8th and February 22, 2026).

If a participant misses a trip, a one time voucher from Shawnee Mountain may be obtained for a make up visit.
