Membership Information

Membership is available to Bernards Township residents and non-residents. Resident Membership categories include: Family, Two-Person, Single (Ages 13+) and Senior (Ages 60+). Non-Resident Membership Categories include: Family and Single (Ages 13+).

By purchasing a membership, you agree to abide by the Rules & Regulations printed in the Membership Handbook and agree to the Township's Hold Harmless Statement (below).

3 Ways to Renew/Purchase Membership

ONLINE: Log-in with your Username & Password. Payment in full by credit card required; Visa, MasterCard and Discover accepted. Select "Pass Renewal" from the main menu to renew your current membership. To purchase a new membership online, select "Membership Search" from the Search Menu. If you do not yet have an online registration account, click here for information on how to obtain one.

BY MAIL:Renewing members may mail their payment stub with the appropriate fee and new members may complete a Resident Application form or Non-Resident Application and mail it with the appropriate fee to Parks & Recreation, RE: Pool Membership, 1 Collyer Lane, Basking Ridge, 07920. Payment by check only.

IN-PERSON:Renewing members may bring their payment stub with appropriate fee and new members may complete a Resident Application form or Non-Resident Application and bring with appropriate fee to the Parks & Recreation office. Office hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30AM – 4:30PM. Payment by check or cash (exact amount).

Pleasant Valley Pool Features…

  • Four separate pools/play areas for swimmers of all ages; including an interactive water play area and 50 meter "z" shaped main pool with diving tank
  • A competitive swim team and a comprehensive group swim instruction schedule (an additional fee applies for these programs)
  • Plenty of "dry" facilities; including a sand volleyball court, shuffleboard court and bocce court
  • Acres of grass to spread out a picnic lunch or purchase a meal or snack at our full service concession stand
  • A summer full of fun events; including family nights, crafts games, float nights and more!

Hold Harmless Statement

By accepting membership, I hereby accept membership privileges for myself and family members listed on the membership and agree that this is a voluntary choice. I acknowledge that there are certain risks inherent with being a member, and I agree to accept all of the consequences and assume the risks involved with membership. I give permission to the Township to provide emergency care as necessary for the well being of myself and my family until such time as a designated emergency contact may be reached. I understand and acknowledge that Bernards Township is not responsible for any loss, damages or injury to any person or property for any reason associated with my and/or my child’s/dependent’s participation in the activities associated with this membership. In light of the above, I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless and release Bernards Township from any and all liability for any and all injuries that I and/or my child/dependent may sustain as a result of participation in this activity. This includes, but is not limited to, responsibility for the payment of any and all doctor, medical or hospital bills resulting from any and all injuries to me and/or my child/dependent. I grant Bernards Township the right to use any and all photographs of myself or my child participating in a Department sponsored activity for future media promotion. I confirm that I have read and understand the rules outlined in the Membership Handbook and the Recreation Department's registration policies and procedures
