School Resource Officer

The Bernards Township Police Department has one Officer assigned to Ridge High School as a School Resource Officer. This Officer is also assigned as the Department's Juvenile Officer and handles investigations, concerns, and many other issues related to our school age children. This program is a collaborative effort by the Bernards Township Police, Bernards Township Board of Education, students, parents and the community in an effort to reduce crime, drug abuse, violence and provide a safe school environment. In addition, the program strives to promote a positive image of law enforcement to our youth and to create strong community partnerships.
