
The mission of the Bernards Township Board of Health Department is to provide competent, professional and efficient public health and environmental services to the residents of our community. Through the delivery of state mandated "Public Health Practice Standards of Performance for Local Boards of Health in New Jersey" and the ordinances and policies of the Board of Health, the department protects and promotes the public's health by the use of health promotion and education, disease prevention, environmental enforcement and inspection activities.
